Bsnl announced today that their 3G services will be launched on 3-Feb-2010 in Ravindera bharati.

By this 3G network,

• Video Calling

The technology enables peer-to-peer video calling as well as multipoint video conferencing on mobile phones.

• We can get access to a faster Internet ( till 8 MBPS download)

You can access your favorite you-tube video’s via your mobile device? You now can access you-tube via You-tube Mobile.

• Internet using Laptop/computer USB port, Blue-tooth, Infrared.

You have wireless Internet using this 3G network. You can watch any high band width site on your mobile.

• Live TV in mobile phones

You can watch amost all the TV in your mobile. You can watch your favorite TV shows, Cricket without missing.

• Lower cost

To use this facility you need to have a mobile phone which supports 3G network. you can get this for as low as 5000 RS. Also we need to upgrade the current SIM to a new 3G support SIM(32k SIM). For BSNL customers this SIM is free, for others we need to pay 50 RS extra.

Initially BSNL willing to give 5 lakh connections in Hyderabad and Medak districts. Later it will increase this upon demand.

For now only BSNL supports 3G network, after the bid in April we may get other providers soon.

Tariff for 3G mobile service

1. Initial SIM & Activation Charges for both Voice and Data plans under 3G postpaid and prepaid service:

2.1. Choice of Prepaid plan through FRCs:-

Note:-

•  In case of migration from 2G prepaid to 3G prepaid, the unutilized account balance in 2G will be carried forward to 3G. However, the carry forward of balance validity from 2G to 3G prepaid may not be allowed. In order to get validity, the customer has to recharge with the FRC of the desired plan.

•  If a subscriber wants a change from a particular 3G plan to other 3G plan or 2G plan or vice versa, the customer has to recharge with FRC of the desired plan after using a NIL value migration voucher.

2.2 Choosing postpaid voice plan through different 2G & 3 G tariff plans.

i) The customer can choose any voice plan of his choice out of the existing 2G & 3G postpaid plans with FMC more than Rs.225. For availing 3G services with 2G voice plans, the existing/new postpaid customer has to pay an additional FMC of Rs.50.

3. General Terms and conditions:-

•  In case of migration from 2G to 3G, the customer may continue with the existing 2G SIM without any charge or may opt for a new 3G USIM with higher memory for Rs.59.

•  In case of migration from 2G prepaid to 3G prepaid, the unutilized account balance in 2G will be carried forward to 3G. However, the carry forward of balance validity from 2G to 3G prepaid may not be allowed.

•  If a subscriber wants a change from a particular 3G plan to other 3G plan or 2G plan or vice versa, the customer has to recharge with FRC of the desired plan. However, while using the FRC for migration purpose the discount will be allowed will be at normal rate applicable to RCV.

•  Replacement of defective SIM/USIM will be free of cost to be made at CSC only, if the replacement of SIM/USIM is due to technical reason beyond the control of customer. However, if the replacement of SIM/USIM is due to customer negligence Rs.59 (Incl. of S.Tax) will be levied. In case customer wants new USIM, replacing the existing 2G SIM, the customer will also have to pay Rs.59.

Promotional Offers

•  50 Minutes free local video call will be allowed to all new 3G prepaid and postpaid connections activated upto 31.12.2009.

•  Customers purchasing 3G Data card from BSNL and activating the same will get free data usage of 6 GB per month as 1GB day/any time and 5GB night usage for two months, as a promotional measure for 90 days w.e.f. 15.08.2009. However, for getting validity the customer has to recharge with data recharge voucher or fixed monthly charges in case of postpaid connection. The free usage of 6 GB will be added to the free usage available with the data plan. No other freebies may be allowed for the above data cards.

•  Incoming video call facility allowed to 2G customers with 3G enabled handsets will continue to be allowed until further order.

Actress Samantha who is acting in Naga Chaitanya’s second film, ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ is being projected as a debut actress to the film industry. However, the actress has earlier debuted in a Tamil film in the second lead. The actress real name is Sapan Saran. The lady has also done many ads before entering the film industry.

The actress seems to be quite lucky this time as she has grabbed an opportunity to act in the female lead in Goutham Vasudev Menon’s direction and in A.R.Rahman’s music. So, wishing the actress all the best in the film industry!

Ram Gopal Varma who tries to scare the audience with his horror films, is coming up with ‘Awaham’ which is a sequel to Raksha. RGV is presenting this film. Awaham is currently in its postproduction stages. Awaham starts from the point where the prequel has ended and is said to be the scariest films ever made in Indian cinema.

The film is being directed by the writer Milind Gadagkar. He said,” Fear is such a strong emotion that it defies all logic. I wanted to take the audience to a place where the horrors are so painfully scary and gory that even a rational mind will lose its sanity.” The film is produced by Burra Prashanth and P. Chandrasekhar under Sarthak Movies Ltd. banner in association with Zed 3 Pictures. The film is gearing up for its release in the month of April.
