Music Directors Ilayaraja and Rahman along with Aamir Khan were conferred with India’s third highest civilian award – Padma Bhushan. Others actors Rekha, Saif Ali Khan, Arundhati Nag and Sound engineer Resul Pokutty were awarded with Padma Shri Awards.
